South Korea Plans to Allocate 4 Trillion Won for 10,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs Next Year

According to Odaily, South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT plans to allocate 4 trillion won next year to purchase 10,000 Nvidia Vera Rubin GPUs, supporting national AI infrastructure expansion and public-facing services. The move extends the government's existing AI computing resource utilization program, with cloud service providers responsible for procurement and deployment. Vera Rubin GPUs deliver up to 6 times higher training performance and over 8 times higher inference performance compared to the prior Blackwell architecture.
