South Korea's KOSPI Hits 8,300, Plunges to 7,815 on Intraday Selling Pressure

According to E Daily, South Korea's KOSPI index hit 8,300 today but fell sharply to 7,815.53 intraday as of 1:20 p.m. KST on July 6. The benchmark closed 118.54 points, or 1.48%, lower at 7,968.49 despite earlier gains.

Foreign investors and institutions sold a combined 2.34 trillion Korean won, while individuals bought 2.25 trillion Korean won.
