Trade.xyz announced it will cover eligible liquidation losses on Monday (July 28) after a price anomaly hit its SK Hynix perpetual contract on Hyperliquid. The SKHYNIX contract's mark price fell from $1,127.90 to $917.25 at 23:01 UTC following an executed trade relayed by multiple independent data providers. The platform said its oracle worked as intended and described the reimbursement as a one-time discretionary decision. Eligibility requirements and distributions are expected in the coming days. The SK Hynix contract ranks among Hyperliquid's most active markets, with over $1.5 billion in 24-hour volume and nearly $600 million in open interest.
