UK Two-Year Gilt Yields Rise 12.5bp This Week as Monday Rally Outpaces Losses

On Friday (July 17), UK two-year gilt yields rose 0.6bp to 4.346%, with weekly gains of 12.5bp following a sharp rally on Monday and partial pullbacks in subsequent sessions. UK 10-year yields fell 1.5bp to 4.951%, up 7.9bp over the week after Monday's significant rise. Thirty-year and 50-year gilt yields both declined Friday, falling 1.2bp and 1.6bp respectively.
