According to CNBC, the U.S. continued strikes on Iran for a 10th straight night on July 20 after President Trump promised retaliation for American service member deaths in the conflict. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it struck Amazon infrastructure in Bahrain with missiles, though CNBC could not independently verify the assertion.

Houthi allies announced a maritime embargo against Saudi Arabia on July 20, a move that could worsen oil supply disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz caused by Iranian attacks on ships. Oil prices rose this morning, adding to gains from the previous session.
