U.S. Military Escalates Strikes on Iranian Infrastructure; Iran Warns of Retaliation

According to CCTV, over the past week, the U.S. military conducted successive strikes on Iranian ports, bridges, power systems, energy facilities, and desalination plants. A CCTV correspondent in Tehran observed that the attacks increasingly impact the daily life of ordinary Iranian citizens. In response, Iran has repeatedly warned that if the U.S. continues to target Iranian infrastructure, it will launch strong counterattacks on regional installations. While the conflict scale remains below early-war levels, both sides are rapidly crossing previously established red lines in what analysts describe as a high-risk escalation that narrows the space for de-escalation.
