U.S. Semiconductor ETF Falls 3.7% as Tech Shares Slide; Regional Banks Surge 2.8% on July 16

On Thursday, July 16, U.S. stock sector ETFs showed mixed performance, with technology shares leading declines. Semiconductor ETF fell 3.7%, while technology industry ETF dropped 2.24% and global tech stock ETF declined 2.47%. In contrast, regional bank ETF surged 2.82%, and banking and consumer staples ETFs both rose at least 2.44%. Network stock index ETF fell 1.54%.
