US Storage, Semiconductor Stocks Fall Up to 7.3% in Pre-Market Trading on July 7

According to BlockBeats citing BIT market data, storage, semiconductor, and optical communications stocks declined sharply in US pre-market trading on July 7. Western Digital (WDC) led storage declines with a 7.30% drop, followed by Seagate (STX) down 5.97% and Micron (MU) down 5.34%. Semiconductor heavyweights also weakened: ASML (ASML) fell 3.74%, Intel (INTC) dropped 3.54%, and AMD (AMD) declined 3.85%. Optical communications sector stocks including Lumentum (LITE) and Ciena (CIEN) each fell approximately 3.6%.
