USDC Claims 70% of Adjusted Stablecoin Trading Volume in H1 2026, Extends Lead Over USDT

According to Visa blockchain data, USDC accounted for approximately 70% of adjusted stablecoin trading volume in the first half of 2026, widening its lead over Tether's USDT at 25%. In June alone, adjusted stablecoin trading volume hit a record $1.79 trillion, up 63% from May and 125% year-over-year. Visa's adjusted figures exclude bot activity, platform transfers, and other blockchain transactions that do not reflect genuine economic activity.
