According to ZhiTong Financial, on July 9, Wangidata (09698) shared its latest green energy practices at the "Datacenter Green and Low-Carbon Transformation Forum" organized by China's National Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Center in Beijing. The company announced that its nationwide mature operating datacenters achieved an average PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of 1.23 in 2025, with best-performing projects in northern regions reaching below 1.15, marking global leadership in energy efficiency. Wangidata also increased renewable energy usage from 38% in 2023 to 60% in 2025, with direct green power procurement rising from 30% to 75%, while operating carbon emissions decreased 130 tons despite a 1.2 billion kilowatt-hour increase in total electricity consumption.
