According to a Yemeni government naval officer, a naval patrol boat was attacked in the Red Sea yesterday (July 26) near Zuqar Island, with 3 personnel reported missing. The officer told Xinhua News Agency that the patrol boat was struck by armed personnel aboard multiple small vessels while returning from a military mission. The official attributed the attack to Houthi forces but provided no evidence to support the claim.
