#MyGateTradeStory

My biggest trading lesson wasn’t from a winning trade.

It came from watching a position move against me while I kept hoping the market would reverse.

That experience completely changed how I trade.

Today, I follow three simple rules:

✅ Never risk more than I can afford to lose
✅ Always use a stop loss
✅ Focus on risk management before profits

Since then, my goal is no longer to catch every pump.

My goal is consistency.

The traders who survive the longest are not the ones who make the biggest wins. They’re the ones who protect their capital during the worst market conditions.

Every trade teaches something. Every mistake has value if you learn from it.

Well said. One losing trade that teaches discipline is worth more than ten lucky wins

Risk management is what separates surviving traders from lucky ones.

One of the hardest lessons in trading is realizing that hope is not a strategy.
