#gStocksTokenizedStocksLive

The advent of tokenized stocks may very well revolutionize how investment is thought about for many, as this develops quietly in the background. The gap between traditional finance and crypto has been closing for years now, and I think that is a situation worthy of monitoring closely.

The most interesting aspect of tokenized stocks to me is how they will enhance accessibility and simplify access to investments in companies we already know. If someone is able to invest in the shares of household name companies using blockchain technology, it can ultimately create more flexibility and efficiency to investors or consumers. Furthermore, this way of investing demonstrates the continuing development of crypto outside of just digital currencies to include physical financial assets.

On the flip side, I also believe that there is no guarantee of success with each and every new launch. In order for tokenized stocks to gain traction, there has to be liquidity, a decent user experience, a supportive regulatory atmosphere, and lastly, whether there are true advantages to trading tokenized stocks in comparison to traditional markets. All new product launches have to take time to demonstrate value.

My personal opinion is that tokenized assets represent one piece of a much larger picture. As blockchain infrastructure continues to mature, I expect to see many more types of physical assets migrate onto the blockchain. If this trend continues to grow, a new segment of investors interested in finding the speed and transparency of blockchain would likely follow.
