Today’s market action wraps up, with the whole day oscillating back and forth within a range. An oscillating market is the most exhausting, and it really tests your patience.
Opportunities are always coming in—there’s no need to rush to enter. Keep your hands under control, reduce blind and frequent trading, and only then can you go far.
For now, set the market aside, relax your mind and body, and fight again tomorrow. Good night, everyone. $XAU

7.28 midnight gold market commentary
After the gold price broke below 4040, it found support around 4017 late in the evening. It has since rebounded slightly to around 4035. From the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, although the selloff has slowed down, the overall trend is still bearish and ranging. 4050-4060 has become the pressure zone for a short-term rebound.
Right now, the market’s focus is entirely on the Fed’s interest-rate meeting, and everyone is waiting for an official statement. Although earlier risk-off sentiment faded and oil prices plunged, which weighed on gold, global central banks i

7.28 Gold late review
In the mid-session, we said 4040 support—by this afternoon it was directly broken through! The gold price kept dropping, hitting a low near 4017. It’s currently struggling around 4026. The intraday decline is over 1.2%, which is weaker than expected.
From the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, the bears have fully taken control, and the short-term trend has flipped to bearish. Since 4040 can’t hold, below we can only look at the 4000 round-number level and support near the prior low around 3985. For upside resistance, first watch the 4050-4065 area. If any rebound can’t hold, it w

7.28 Gold Midday Review
Guys, good afternoon! The 4050-4040 support zone we mentioned this morning really proved reliable. The gold price surged higher in the early session, then pulled back; it briefly dipped to around 4034 and then rebounded quickly. It’s currently consolidating around 4049, which shows the support below is indeed effective.
The afternoon strategy is clear: since it can’t drop further, go long on dips around the 4040-4050 support zone. From the 1-hour and 4-hour charts, although the bigger trend is still in a pullback, the short-term downtrend has already slowed down, and th

Guys, good morning! Right now gold is trading around 4,066, and the overall trend is weak with sideways consolidation.
From the chart, both the 4-hour and 1-hour moving averages are sloping downward; bearish power has the upper hand. After last night’s spike and subsequent pullback, today’s early session also opened on a green-to-red candle. Based on institutional views, after a recent pullback, gold is likely to maintain a ranging pattern in the short term.
Intraday direction: bearish first. For upside pressure, watch 4,080–4,085. For downside support, focus on 4,050–4,040.
For trades, it’s s

7.27 Midnight Gold Market Review
Tonight, gold is moving in a rather tangled way. The current price is hovering around 4073. Although it is up 0.5%, it’s clearly felt that there is insufficient upward momentum. In the early session, the gold price had risen to 4116, then quickly pulled back. It’s now consolidating and repairing within the 4070–4100 range.
Technically, both the 1-hour and 4-hour MACD indicators show that bullish momentum is weakening, suggesting a pullback is needed in the short term. In addition, risk-aversion sentiment related to the Iran-Iraq conflict has eased temporarily.

Friends who are stuck in losing positions, calm down first.
Being underwater isn’t scary by itself; what’s scary is that after your mindset breaks down, you blindly take action, forcing a small loss into a deep loss.
Many people fall into the trap: stubbornly holding on waiting to get back to break even, or rushing to add positions to dilute cost—ending up deeper and deeper.
With the current market whipsawing up and down and longs/shorts switching frequently, there is no trend that only goes up or only goes down.
Remember the core idea: first assess position risk—reduce large positions first t

7.27 Gold Evening Wrap-up
Guys, good evening! Gold is currently hovering around 4100. Today has seen a strong rebound, with gains of more than 1%. From the 1-hour chart, it spiked to 4116 in the morning and then pulled back; it’s now consolidating around 4099. The 4-hour chart is even more clear: the earlier move saw it rally all the way from 3959. The bulls still control the market, but momentum has started to weaken.
Why is it up? Mainly because the US-Iran front has temporarily paused hostilities, oil prices have fallen, inflation concerns have cooled off, and the US dollar has weakened—giv

7.27 Gold early-market report
Gold previously bottomed out and rebounded. After dipping as low as 4022, it rebounded; the current price has held above 4085. In the short term, the bearish pressure has been fully released, and the market has entered a phase of corrective consolidation.
The primary resistance overhead is 4096, with strong resistance at 4140; support below is 4050, and the key defense level is 4022.
For short-term trading, the focus is on buying the dips. If price retraces into the 4060–4070 range, you may consider long positions, with a stop-loss placed below 4050. If it breaks

The gold market in this run of trading really lives up to the old saying: “Cut firewood for a thousand days, burn it all in one day.” After the price had been consolidating at high levels around 4166 for so long, the long side’s hard-earned cushion was finally crushed by that recent big bearish candle, and in just one day it fell back to where things stood before—back to square one.
This morning, gold was trading weakly and ranging around 4030, and any rebound was extremely feeble. The root cause is that a sharp surge in oil prices sparked strong rate-hike expectations; U.S. Treasury yields th

Good morning, guys! Yesterday, gold surged to a high of 4166 and then topped out, followed by a continued pullback. In the evening, selling accelerated and the low finally touched around 4040. This morning, leaning on the 4042 support, we arranged a long position at the current price. The market has since rebounded slightly to around the 4050 area, and the short-term setup is now seeing a corrective bounce.
After the big sell-off, the short-term overall trend is in a weak consolidation phase. This is a rebound amid sideways movement after a decline—don’t treat it as a reversal. The short-term

This morning, gold saw a rapid pullback after touching 4140 and is now around 4120. On the daily level, as long as there is no effective breakout above 4206, the broader trend is still biased to the downside/weak. Recently, due to the Middle East situation (such as tensions around the Strait of Hormuz), risk-averse sentiment has remained relatively elevated, and overall price action has been on the stronger side. Over the past two days, it’s likely to move toward 4200.
From the 1-hour chart, after hitting the 4166 high, gold pulled back and is now trading below the Bollinger Band middle line.
