Gate News bot reported that Japan’s chief trade negotiator, Ryosei Akazawa, stated on Thursday that Japan cannot accept a 25% tariff on automobiles. Akazawa further mentioned that officials will continue tariff negotiations with the United States.
He said: “Japan cannot accept a 25% tariff on automobiles. We will continue tariff negotiations with the United States and consider implementing additional reciprocal tariffs on July 9.”
