Ripple stablecoin RLUSD market capitalization exceeds 1 billion USD
According to Mars Finance news, as reported by CoinDesk, the USD stablecoin RLUSD issued by Ripple has surpassed a market capitalization of $1 billion within less than a year of its launch, ranking 10th among USD stablecoins. The token is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, with reserves in USD and short-term US Treasuries, and it has been integrated into Ripple's payment and liquidity system. The current circulating supply is approximately $819 million in Ethereum and $203 million in XRP Ledger; Ripple claims to have processed nearly $100 billion in total payments, with RLUSD being the primary settlement stablecoin.
