Golden Finance reported that Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet, stated on the X platform that some say ETFs are a disadvantage for Metaplanet, but this is not the case. ETFs need to rely on capital inflows for support; otherwise, the amount of BTC held will never increase. Companies like Metaplanet, which hold Bitcoin, will also never increase their BTC holdings. Therefore, ETFs are a “static exposure,” and the roles of the two are different. ETFs do not undermine the advantages of Bitcoin treasury companies.
