Deep Tide TechFlow News, December 11th, according to Jin10 Data, U.S. President Trump announced on Wednesday that his long-promised “Golden Card” is officially on sale. Individuals who pay $1 million, as well as foreign employees paid $2 million by their companies, can obtain legal status and pave the way toward U.S. citizenship.

At the Roosevelt Room in the White House, Trump unveiled the start of this initiative amid a crowd of business leaders, simultaneously launching an official application website. The move aims to replace the EB-5 investment immigrant visa.

The EB-5 program was established by Congress in 1990 to attract foreign investment, originally requiring investors to contribute approximately $1 million to a company that creates at least 10 jobs.

Trump believes the new “Golden Card” is an effective way for the U.S. to attract and retain top global talent, and also serves as an important revenue source for the federal treasury. He has been promoting the “Golden Card” for several months; initially, he suggested each card would cost $5 million, but recently finalized the pricing scheme at $1 million for individuals and $2 million for businesses.

Trump pledged that all funds received from this program “will be fully remitted to the U.S. government.” He expects hundreds of billions of dollars to flow into a dedicated account managed by the Treasury Department, “and these funds can be used for things beneficial to the country.”
