deBridge launches the Bundles execution model, redefining cross-chain interactions and simplifying on-chain experience

Cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge announces the launch of a new execution primitive, deBridge Bundles, aimed at fundamentally simplifying on-chain interactions for users and developers, reducing multi-layer complexity in DeFi usage. This model allows users to sign only an “intention” describing the final result, which the protocol automatically executes without manual handling of transactions, gas, or cross-chain steps.

Traditional on-chain operations often require users to deal with slippage, gas estimation, transaction retries, and asset management across multiple chains. deBridge states in its announcement that Bundles shift execution logic from chain-level operations to a “result-oriented” model, eliminating cumbersome steps and making user operations closer to a one-click experience. Meanwhile, developers can focus on application-layer logic without building complex execution and retry frameworks themselves, significantly shortening development cycles and improving product stability.

Bundles are the first component of deBridge’s comprehensive execution framework, which will also support one-click cross-chain trading, strategy execution, deposit flows, and highly abstracted on-chain liquidity management in the future. The framework aims to make on-chain experiences more like Web2, allowing users to complete cross-chain transactions or automate strategies without understanding the underlying chain architecture.

Unlike mainstream bridging protocols, deBridge does not rely on locking assets and minting wrapped tokens. Instead, it achieves cross-chain transfer through direct liquidity transfer between chains, reducing security risks and increasing efficiency. Currently, the protocol supports 24 blockchain networks, including Ethereum, HyperEVM, Linea, Base, and Tron.

Since its launch in 2022, deBridge has received $5.5 million in support from investors including Animoca Brands, and in July 2025, it launched the DBR Reserve Fund for token buybacks and ecosystem expansion. With the launch of Bundles, deBridge is accelerating the development of a smarter, more efficient cross-chain execution layer, further driving innovation in on-chain user experience. (The Block)
