The Israeli military said that the northern part of the country was attacked by about 35 rockets from inside Lebanon. The Israeli military’s air defense system intercepted most of the rockets. The Israeli military said the attack did not cause any casualties to local people. However, some media reports said the attack caused large fires in two areas in the north.
