PANews November 12th news, according to Decrypt, if retired NFL player Russell Okung of the Carolina Panthers holds the 240 BTC he purchased with half of his salary in 2020 until today, his assets will exceed $20.9 million.
In December 2020, Okung announced that he would receive half of his $13 million salary in Bitcoin (approximately $6.5 million). In May 2021, Okung pledged not to sell his BTC despite the drop in the crypto market, but since then, he has not publicly disclosed any changes to his BTC investment strategy.
