CZ: He Yi is the hardest-working person I’ve ever met. My current focus is on BNB Chain ecosystem projects.
On December 4, during the “KOL and Media Interaction” session, CZ responded to the question “How do you view He Yi’s title adjustment and future shift in work focus” by saying: “From my perspective, He Yi becoming Co-CEO is completely normal. She has always been dedicated to supporting the community and serving users wholeheartedly as a co-founder. She is the most hardworking person I have ever met. She has long been a pillar of the company. This title change is more of an official business card for external communication, allowing the Western community to become more familiar with her. He Yi and Richard have very different but complementary skill sets. He Yi is nine years younger than me, has impressive learning abilities, and can quickly make up for any shortcomings. For example, although her English is not as good as Richard’s, she is constantly improving, even if you still hear some grammatical mistakes. Recently, while I was in the US with not much to do, I played some sports; after coming back, I found the company was running well and the team is very strong. This is a good thing. Life doesn’t go backward. I enjoy my current life—I don’t have to be fully focused on the CEX at all times, and I can give others space to grow. My current focus is on BNB Chain ecosystem projects and serving as a crypto advisor to multiple governments.”
