Abstract generation in progress

On December 12th, CEX announced a significant regulatory milestone in Pakistan. It has successfully obtained Anti-Money Laundering (AML) registration under the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (PVARA) framework, marking a key step towards obtaining a full license and achieving local registration in Pakistan. According to the phased development strategy, CEX will initially provide cross-border services under AML registration before obtaining a comprehensive Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license, while strictly adhering to the requirements of Pakistan’s regulatory roadmap. CEX will continue to support the development of the digital economy in South Asia and looks forward to ongoing collaboration with regional regulators and all stakeholders to build a robust, transparent, and inclusive virtual asset ecosystem.
