Apple Plans iPhone Leasing at $17.99 Per Month Through Klarna Partnership

According to CNBC, Apple announced on Tuesday a new leasing program with Klarna allowing U.S. customers to rent iPhones starting at $17.99 per month for up to two years. The program, called Upgrade, will be available at Apple's physical and online stores following a soft credit check. An iPhone 17 Pro will cost $31.99 per month for 24 months or $45.99 for 12 months. Similar options will be offered for Apple Watches, Macs, and iPads. The initiative replaces Apple's previous iPhone Upgrade Program, which charged over $42 monthly with financing from Citizens Bank.
