Cardano's Hoskinson Says 'Best Days Ahead' as ADA Plunges 95% From 2021 Peak

ADA-6.37%

During an X AMA on July 27, Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, said the network's "best days are ahead," even as the native token ADA trades at $0.16, down 95% from its September 2021 all-time high of $3.09. ADA has fallen 53% so far in 2026 amid governance disputes and builder withdrawals.

Hoskinson proposed a funding overhaul to clear a backlog of over 600 million ADA in treasury requests and suggested spreading development across more independent companies. He argued that the network's security and utility, rather than short-term speculation, drive ADA's price.
