China Achieves First Large-Scale Brain Signal Collection: Over 1,000 Users Simultaneously Recorded Across Regions

According to CCTV Finance, China's research team released a new electroencephalography signal acquisition device yesterday, achieving cross-regional synchronized collection from over 1,000 users for the first time globally. The team overcame two key technical challenges: maintaining signal precision while miniaturizing the device, and achieving millisecond-level time synchronization across multiple devices and regions despite network latency, enabling unified analysis of different brain signals.

On July 23, Shanghai's financial authorities announced measures to accelerate brain-computer interface commercialization through expanded Shanghai Stock Exchange IPO standards, following a July 13 policy from 14 government departments supporting BCI development. According to the China Brain-Computer Interface Commercial Prospect Report, the market is projected to reach 5 billion yuan in 2026 and 15 billion yuan by 2030.
