According to CCTV Financial, China's National Development and Reform Commission and National Energy Administration released the Renewable Energy Development Plan for 2026-2030 on July 23, setting an offshore wind target of approximately 100GW in newly approved capacity and 100GW cumulative installed capacity by 2030. The plan prioritizes near-shore wind projects and deep-water offshore wind base development.
Domestic wind installations are expected to enter peak season in the second half of 2026, with forecasted growth in cumulative capacity, according to Guosen Securities. The acceleration follows strong overseas momentum, with Envision Energy securing over 4.4GW of new overseas orders in the first half of 2026 across North Africa, Southern Europe, and Southeast Asia.
