According to Senator Cynthia Lummis in a July 14 Fox Business interview, the Senate will introduce the CLARITY Act bill text within days after nearly 10 months of negotiations. Lummis emphasized the importance of advancing the digital asset legislation during the Senate's upcoming four-week session before the August recess, stating that lawmakers aim to provide market stability for onshore digital asset businesses. Senate Majority Leader John Thune will determine the floor schedule, with Lummis expecting consideration during the week of July 20.
