Hengguk Asset Management Withdraws SK Hynix Shareholder Letter After One Day

According to Yonhap Infomax, Hengguk Asset Management withdrew a shareholder letter sent to SK Hynix's board on July 9, just one day after submitting it on July 8. The letter had criticized SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won for announcing a 1.1 quadrillion-won investment plan alongside the president without board deliberation, describing it as board-level bypassing. The reversal came after SK Hynix disputed the letter, stating it reflected only the division head's personal opinion and lacked proper internal approval procedures.
