Huahai Pharmaceuticals Receives $14.2 Million U.S. Tariff Refund on July 8

According to Jin10, Soukesheng Health Limited, a subsidiary of Huahai Pharmaceuticals, received a cumulative $14.2296 million in U.S. tariff refunds as of today (July 8), accounting for 36.36% of the company's latest audited net profit. The refunds follow a February 2026 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the government exceeded its legal authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) when imposing the tariffs, making those measures invalid. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officially launched the refund process on April 20. The company estimates the refunds will impact its 2026 net profit by approximately 96.87 million yuan, with the majority of the earnings impact expected in the second half of 2026.
