Kumho Tire Q2 Operating Profit Seen Down 19.56% YoY, Sales Up 4.99% as Plant Restarts

According to eight Korean brokerage firms' forecasts compiled by Yonhapinfomax on July 19, Kumho Tire's second-quarter operating profit is expected to decline 19.56% year-over-year to 140.9 billion won, while sales revenue is forecast to grow 4.99% to 1.28 trillion won. The company's Gwangju plant, which resumed production after a fire halt, is contributing to the sales recovery alongside parent company Doublestar's expanded outsourcing.
