Mercor Eyes $20B Valuation in Funding Talks, Hits $2B Revenue Run Rate

According to Bloomberg, San Francisco-based Mercor, an AI startup that supplies data and expert contractors to help companies build AI models, is in early talks to raise funding at approximately $20 billion valuation. CEO Brendan Foody announced this week that the company has reached a $2 billion annualized revenue run rate, up from $1 billion four months earlier. The fundraising discussions come less than a year after Mercor last raised money at a $10 billion valuation.
