According to Yonhap Infomax, on July 24, President Lee Jae-myung of South Korea met with four major U.S. AI industry leaders in San Francisco: Dario Amodei of Anthropic, Sam Altman of OpenAI, Jensen Huang of Nvidia, and Hock Tan of Broadcom. Altman and Lee reunited approximately 10 months after their last official meeting in Seoul on October 1, 2025, where they discussed AI infrastructure cooperation with Samsung and SK Group. Huang and Lee met again about nine months after their previous encounter at the APEC summit in Gyeongju in October 2025. The meeting with Hock Tan was their first official engagement. The discussions covered South Korea's participation in the global AI supply chain, spanning AI models, semiconductors, data centers, and networking infrastructure.
