Retail Investors Sell 2.9T KRW in Stocks Over Two Days, Dump Samsung and SK Hynix

According to Korea Exchange, retail investors net sold 2.856 trillion KRW in KOSPI stocks over July 21-22, with Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix accounting for 1.74 trillion KRW of the outflow. Foreign investors net bought 2.929 trillion KRW during the same period, absorbing the majority of retail selling. Samsung Electronics retail net sales reached 1.242 trillion KRW (including preferred shares), while SK Hynix saw 439.4 billion KRW net outflow. Foreign ownership of Samsung rose to 46.63%, and SK Hynix foreign stake increased to 52.39%.
