According to Dune Analytics, Robinhood Chain processed $563.9 million in decentralized exchange volume on July 8, roughly 10 times the prior day's $58.9 million activity. The surge was entirely driven by CASHCAT, a memecoin built around Robinhood's retired mascot, which rallied above $100 million market capitalization and pulled Uniswap V3's WETH pair to $212.3 million in a single session.

The volume record exposed a strategic tension: the chain launched July 1 centered on tokenized equities and real-world assets, which totaled only $12.62 million on DeFiLlama—roughly 8 times less than CASHCAT's peak valuation. Hayden Adams, Uniswap founder, confirmed the spike exceeded every chain except Ethereum mainnet. The network added nearly 140,000 first-time users in 24 hours, though whether they will convert to RWA traders remains uncertain.
