South Korea's FSC Considers Additional Regulations on Leveraged ETFs on July 29

According to its National Assembly report on July 29, South Korea's Financial Services Commission Chairman Lee Eok-won said the regulator is taking a serious view of increased market volatility linked to single-stock leveraged ETFs and plans to implement supplementary measures. Lee stated that if necessary, the FSC will pursue additional regulatory measures to address market risks.
