U.S. Crypto Industry Directly Employs 34,000 People, Contributes Over $55B to GDP in 2026: NCA Report

According to The Block, the National Cryptocurrency Association released a report on July 23 showing the U.S. crypto industry directly employs 34,000 people and supports 232,000 total jobs when including indirect positions from vendor spending and employee expenditures.

The industry is projected to contribute over $55 billion to U.S. GDP in 2026, with approximately $31 billion in labor income. Each direct crypto job generates around six additional jobs across the economy, according to the report.
