According to CCTV, citing multiple current and former U.S. officials, the CIA assessed on July 20 that new rounds of U.S. military strikes are unlikely to inflict significant damage on Iran's government or force concessions in negotiations. The report concludes the U.S. and Iran are locked in an indefinite stalemate between peace and war.

While U.S. and Israeli strikes have killed senior Iranian officials and damaged military assets, Iran retains strong resilience and survival capability, the assessment notes.
