According to GoPlus Security, a user lost approximately $77,405 in USDC across two theft incidents over 183 days after signing a malicious Permit transaction, reported by PANews on July 22. The user was initially targeted by a phishing attack 183 days ago, losing about 1,625 USDC. After failing to revoke the malicious authorization, a second theft drained an additional 75,780 USDC from the same account.
