According to Herald Economics on July 26, VIG Partners has been selected as the new owner of Yulkok, an aerospace components manufacturer, in a 400 billion won deal. The private equity firm won the competitive bidding process by emphasizing defense industry security, business continuity, and post-acquisition growth strategy, beating other strong contenders including Stick Investment, Anchor Equity Partners, and KCGI.
