Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, recently revealed some new developments regarding the Rumble Wallet. Currently, this wallet supports three assets: BTC, USDT, and XAUT. However, the most significant feature is yet to come—they are preparing to integrate USAT, a stablecoin specifically designed for US users.
Even more interesting are the planned technical upgrades. The team intends to integrate the Lightning Network and also implement the account abstraction plus Paymaster solution. What does this mean? In the future, when users transfer stablecoins, they may no longer need to worry much about gas fees, leading to a much smoother user experience.
It seems that this time, Tether aims to introduce some new innovations in payment scenarios, and their strategy for the US market is particularly worth watching.
