The rewards from a major exchange's deposit promotion have finally been credited. Looking at the participation, it was unexpectedly low; although some people received rewards, the overall enthusiasm was indeed subdued. Each reward is 80U, which is quite substantial, but it seems to have deterred quite a few people. I later found out that only transfers made directly from non-platform wallets could officially qualify for participation; this detail might have discouraged a lot of potential participants. I was caught up with other matters and missed the entire time window, which is indeed a bit regrettable. The event image was sourced from friends in the group, and its authenticity is guaranteed. 😂

This is a typical market failure caused by information asymmetry. The detail barriers are equivalent to implicit costs, directly increasing the interaction costs for participants and filtering out a large number of retail investors.

ngl this smells like classic gatekeeping disguised as "terms & conditions"... non-custodial wallet requirement? that's literally filtering out half the retail plebs who would've actually participated. 80u looks juicy on the surface but the real game was hidden in the fine print the whole time. missed it myself but honestly? dodging these baited participation traps might be the real move anyway.

80u is indeed quite a lot, but the threshold is set... a bit harsh. Once again, I'm stuck, oh fate. The devil is in the details, it’s always like this. You can tell how many people have been discouraged just by how cold the hype is. Next time, I need to be faster, no more slacking. The event isn't that simple; no one is a first-timer anymore.

ngl the whole "non-custodial wallet only" requirement is such a sneaky attack vector... reminds me of the Ronin bridge exploit tbh. seems like they designed this whole thing to fragment liquidity on purpose. 80U ain't worth the counter-party risk if half the users don't even understand the trust assumptions involved here, smh
