December 24th Christmas holiday is approaching. U.S. stock markets will close early at 2:00 AM Beijing time on December 25th and will be closed for one day on Thursday. This period is quite interesting——the S&P 500 index repeatedly hits new highs, but Bitcoin's performance seems somewhat lackluster, and the two are completely out of sync.
There are likely two main possibilities behind this phenomenon. The first is that U.S. stocks may adjust and decline further, dragging Bitcoin down with them. The second is that this is a preparatory phase before a breakout, with Bitcoin accumulating strength for a surge.
From a technical perspective, when traditional financial indicators (U.S. stocks) diverge from the crypto market, it often indicates something— but what exactly remains uncertain. In the short term, my strategy leans toward observing and waiting for clearer signals from the market. Holiday market liquidity is inherently low, and rash actions could be misled by false breakouts. It’s better to stay patient and let time speak.
