📍 Transactions per second (TPS)
Alephium: Can theoretically scale up to ~10,000 TPS thanks to its sharding system called BlockFlow (processes transactions in parallel) — currently already at hundreds of TPS, with potential for much more. �
Bitcoin: Processes about ~7 TPS on the base protocol.
👉 This means Alephium can handle much higher transaction volumes per second, making it more suitable for applications that require high processing capacity.
