Aleš Michl, the President of the Czech National Bank (CNB), announced that they plan to invest 5% of the country's reserves in Bitcoin. This move could make the Czech Republic the first central bank in Europe to add crypto assets to its reserves. Michl will present a plan to the bank's board on Thursday, proposing that 5% of the 140 billion euro reserves be allocated to Bitcoin. If approved, a portion of CNB's reserves will be invested in Bitcoin.
