BonkDAO hacked for $20M 🤬
Attackers pushed a malicious governance proposal (voting mechanism) and completely drained ~$20 million in BONK tokens from the reserves. Part of the funds are already actively moving to exchanges to be dumped into order books. The token is falling by 14%.
BonkDAO officially confirmed the attack.
The biggest irony is that right before this, Anthropic rolled out its new tool for analyzing smart contracts. The crypto community is now widely joking that Claude has found yet another hole and helped hackers. There is zero evidence, of course, but the meme has already go
