Morpho received $775 million in deposits from Stable, further bolstering optimism.
The decentralized finance platform Morpho, with a total value locked of nearly 8 billion USD, has received a pre-deposit of 775 million USD from Stable, a stablechain supported by Bitfinex. This amount will be managed through vaults supervised by Gauntlet and allocated to various different vaults of Morpho. This move reflects the trend of capital flowing into managed yield-generating protocols, as the total TVL of DeFi has risen to 161 billion USD from 93 billion USD in April.
Morpho also announced support for Optimism (, Ethereum's Layer 2 solution ), and launched 300,000 OP tokens to encourage depositors. Meanwhile, Stable has been criticized for its first vault opening of 825 million USD, mainly due to internal wallet holdings. The Pendle protocol (, with a TVL of 7.4 billion USD ), also launched Stable vaults with fixed yield pools, strengthening the large-scale real DeFi platform.
