It has been revealed who won the presidential election in South Korea that affects the crypto sector! Here are the Cryptocurrency opinions.

The candidate of the Democratic Party, Lee Jae-myung, won the 21st presidential elections held in South Korea.

Lee had previously suggested establishing a stablecoin market in Korean won, aiming to prevent the outflow of national wealth abroad.

After the election victory, Lee Jae-myung said, “I respect the great decision of our people… I will do my best not to disappoint expectations.”

After the election results are finalized, this evening on June (, Lee, who left his home in the Gyeyang-gu district of Incheon with his wife Kim Hye-kyung, stated, “It’s too early to say anything definitive as the vote counting is still ongoing, but if the results are confirmed this way, I respect the great decision of our people.”

In the run-up to the election, both Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung and People’s Power Party )PPP( candidate Kim Moon-so called for a relaxation of existing regulations that limit the investment and use of cryptocurrencies. Both candidates cited the need for reforms that will pave the way for more innovation and an investment-friendly environment in the crypto industry.
