On Monday, during his first face-to-face meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol at the White House, the pen used by Yoon for signing caught Trump’s attention. Trump asked about the pen for two minutes and praised it as a “great pen” after picking it up. Reportedly, this brown pen uses a MonAmi nib and is engraved with a traditional Korean phoenix design, handcrafted by Seoul’s Zenyle company. Zenyle confirmed on its website that the company produced this pen at the request of the South Korean presidential office, and due to a surge in orders, the company has completely suspended the sale of pens.
