According to FnGuide, on July 22, the gap between brokerage price targets and actual stock prices for South Korea's top 20 companies by market cap widened to an average of 64.33%, meaning analyst price targets exceed current valuations by nearly two-thirds. This represents a 2.5-fold increase from 25.04% at the end of 2025.
Samsung Electronics showed a 98.44% gap between its target price of 513,958 won and current price of 259,000 won, while SK Hynix posted a 93.24% gap. Doosan Enerbility recorded the highest gap at 117.05% among the top 20 constituents.
